If you’re looking for a book similar to Fourth Wing this is not it! It has military (coast guard) and ballerina’s and drama and adoption chaos and big decisions. Love a good enemies to lovers with a fake dating trope. Give me more!!

I have a love-hate relationship with this author. Her books are always easy to read, but her twists, turns, and dialogue are just...not it. I'll probably still read more of her stuff though. Oh well.

I really enjoyed the first 75% of this book; I was hooked within the first 10 pages. But after the 75% mark, I felt it dragged a lot. As a dancer, I liked how accurate and descriptive the ballet was (Becky did her research!!!) but there were some loooooong plot points that could have been omitted IMO
