My first devotional book for the year. I chose to do abundant/abundance as my word for the year again, like last year, because I didn't feel I had gotten all of the things out of it that God wanted me to. So, I started the year with a book about abundance.
“I learned the power of feeding my mind positive, faith-building thoughts... Each area of our lives requires us to make deposits of success. Tiny withdrawals without replenishing deposits will lead to physical, spiritual, and emotional bankruptcy in relationships, jobs, and finances.” (location 129)
“'The first hour is the rudder of the day – The Golden Hour.' The importance of planting of wholesome, life-enriching thoughts in our minds I that first hour of the day cannot be overemphasized.” (location 136)
“Jesus came that we might have life and that more abundantly. Let us choose to live that abundant life by reprogramming our thought life.” (location 186)
Most of the thoughts in these little daily devotionals are thoughts I already knew, but we need to be reminded.
