this was so wholesome and can absolutely see it being helpful to those struggling with their mental health - i know it’s something that i would have benefitted from when i was in school.
not to mention, the art style was adorable

This is pretty fun and sweet. It’s an easy read that explores depression and loneliness which I wish I’d discovered a few months ago. I actually think this might help a lot of people, especially young people. It should be in every school library!

Aw this was a really sweet little graphic novel. It really nicely explored feelings of anxiety, spiralling thoughts, and overall how coming together and sharing your feelings can make everything feel so much better. It was a lovely story of a new friendship blooming in an evening over common ground, and a reminder that there will always be someone out there to support you who just gets it.
A quick read but a lovely one at that and I would definitely be keen to read some more of the series!

This story is so relatable, I felt the same way as a teen, and even now I can still feel the wince-inducing awkwardness of trying to be proactive and getting to know/ socialising with people you don’t know. Its underlying message of “you are not alone” creates glimmers of hope for young people experiencing mental health challenges (or even simply being deeply introverted).
This is a solid graphic novel that discusses anxiety, depression, and feeling alone in the world.
However, I personally found it a little dull as the majority of the book is one conversation, as opposed to a story exploring the themes--BUT, this is more about what I was expecting to read, and not a flaw of the book, as it clearly aimed to be a discussion and certainly suceeded at this.
Overall, I appreciate this graphic novel, and feel it accomplished what it set out to do. To all fellow sad ghosts out there, I hope if you read it, you feel a little more seen <3

I wanted to love this graphic novel more as it is right up my alley. I felt that the conversation between the characters were dull and only at times there were some meaningful and relatable topics. Other than that I couldn't relate much. I liked the art however.
Still recommended.
