I loved this! This is a super short story of a ghost and their struggle with anxiety and depression. I've never read a book like this which made me feel so normal about anixety but also illustrated the struggles of it in such a beautiful way. The ending was beautiful and the idea that such a wonderful message is given is such a short and beautifully illustrated book. I think my only criticism is that I wish it was longer. I would definitley recommend this to everyone, whether you struggle with anxiety or depression or not I think everyone will love this! ⭐⭐⭐

I think this would be a lovely book for a teen/young person struggling with anxiety and/or depression or just feeling lonely. I like the art too, I'm just not the target audience anymore I think.

Hm, not sure about this. It's a really good description of how it feels sometimes, to be a sad ghost, not feeling like doing much, dreading social interaction. It's obviously not aimed at me, but we've all been through these periods of being down, feeling like we're drifting through the world, invisible, and it bothers me that the friend he meets tells him that medication was involved in their journey back to health. OK, I realise it sometimes has to be, but most of the time, we just go through these periods as a part of the normal round of life, growing and developing as we learn from our own internal darkness, and it worries me that we're so quick to prescribe chemicals to numb the feeling. There are far too many kids getting medicalised for all sorts of reasons, and they go on to be medicalised adults too. So that made me feel more like it was a pamphlet advertising better living through chemistry when it should be a pamphlet letting you know you're not alone and that it'll get better.
