I enjoy the concept of this series but feel like instead of the themes and concepts of feminism and toxic masculinity being built up and weaved in they are fairly heavy handed which isn’t necessarily a bad thing but I don’t love it.

I am looking to continue this series as I liked the mixed media aspects and think I could like where the series is leading to.

My biggest disappointment with the book was the lack of acknowledgement (or even a nod to) trans and intersex existence and how that might interact with the premise. Doesn't need to be much, just that not everyone that menstruates is woman/girl and some women/girls do not menstruate or have uteruses.
