The story is your typical vampire romance, nothing extra special. It’s enjoyable enough. Much in the same way fanfiction can be enjoyable but it won't surprise the reader.

What really detracts from the reading experience, though, are all the errors. Typos, grammar mistakes, homonyms, etc. There sentences that make no sense. Like they’ve been edited too many times and taken apart and stuck together.

To give a non-spoilery example.

“Thankfully, I was able to tell them off from the ledge…”

He must’ve caught sight of me because he was tried to get out of there as fast as possible.

I found it really distracting, especially during the spicy scenes. Overall it's a fast read and probably best read on a hot summer's day. It won't take much longer than that.

Love the vampire-hunter dynamic

Dislikes:

Silvia is almost too bitchy at times and then she flips pretty quickly into liking Keir. Their whole relationship kinda felt like it was a bit rushed on attraction alone. I would’ve liked to see them bond over a bit more
Sometimes the plot felt a little all over the place - the double crossing and guessing who’s the bad guy kind of made me just not like everyone
