This was fkn weird.
I can see that it was trying to make a bigger point and I enjoyed the book initially but the ending was abrupt and really irritating.

Memetic is short, a total of three issues within the collected volume, but packs quite a punch. Exploring the theme of virality, Tynion takes readers on a horrific and intense journey. Eryk Donovan's art is a perfect accompaniment to the story, crisp and thoughtful. Some might find the ending to be abrupt, but for me, this was a fantastic story that rang true through to the last page.

Didn't get the tone. Is it sarcasm, or a twisted celebration (catharsis?) of our collective/individualistic obsessive paradoxes? Again, I feel that the concept of meme is wasted. Sci-fi wise, it's a nice premise that is used in a chilled teen/catastrophe movie narrative. The dystopian analyses and insights are nowhere to be seen.
