Bon bah j’avais trouvé depuis le début mais sans comprendre comment le meurtre avait pu être commis par cette personne. En plus tout du long comme je ne trouvais pas, j’ai eu un immense sentiment de vide dans le crâne, ça ne bouillonnait pas donc j’étais frustrée j’avais l’impression de ne pas avancer.
Mais c’est la deuxième fois au moins avec Le Crime du golf que je trouve d’emblée le meurtrier sans raison haha

One of the weakest Christie Poirot novels. I did manage to finish this but the murderer was kind of obvious, with the standard Christie suspension of belief (e.g. ).
It had far too little Poirot as well. Also the random appeals to "put women in their place as Nature intended" is really badly dated and was never a great look. Ditto with the racist overtones (though one makes exceptions for those for Christie..)

Yet again I suspected everyone and was still shocked by the ending haha bravo. I liked the different setting of this one, and the narrator was a good choice. I liked seeing Poirot through their eyes. Again, there are references to the craft of writing which I enjoyed. Very good read, and I zoomed through the end desperate to hear Poirot pull all the threads together.
