Another quick beach read! I have to say, it’s easy for me to love Megan Quinn’s MMCs… this is my second book by her and even though the storylines are very cliche “fake relationship” troupes, I like how she finds different angles for each one (unlike other formulaic authors 🥸)
This one started off great, it was funny, flirty and had me laugh out loud a few times... then it took a turn towards the middle and I just lost interest. The characters became not so likable and things
were just "over the top."

I love a good hate-to-love trope and I listened to this book vs reading it so that probably influenced my 3 stars. I just couldnt do it. I dont mind some spice, but this spice was about every other page and just too much. *insert embarassment here*

The brooding Huxley. Honestly, this books wasn’t what I expected but I love the way it made me confused whether I liked Dave or not lmao. Other than that, this was necessarily spicy and the love in this was just *chef’s kiss* dont even get me started with however many times i yelled out Huxley’s name because of frustration
