A Not So Meet Cute
by Meghan Quinn
4/5⭐️

I was in the mood for a laugh-out-loud romantic comedy, and A Not So Meet Cute exceeded my expectations. It has some fun tropes like fake dating, clever banter, and a charming yet grumpy billionaire. This marks my third book by Meghan Quinn, and I must say, her writing is quickly becoming a favorite of mine.

The dynamic between the main characters, Huxley and Lottie, is the real heart of the book. Huxley is your classic callous billionaire who approaches life with logic and precision. Enter Lottie, a sarcastic, totally chaotic woman who flips everything upside down. Their personalities clash in the best way, creating banter that’s both hilarious and charming.

Although I liked the fake dating trope, there were some awkward and over-the-top moments. And it would not be a Meghan Quinn book if I did not talk about spice. There’s a lot of it! The chemistry between Huxley and Lottie is undeniable, and their steamy moments are intense. If you love enemies-to-lovers energy with a splash of fake relationship chaos and a whole lot of heat, this one’s for you.

eh. i really did not like this book that much, i feel like it all
happened way too fast but at the same time this book did not need to be this long. of course huxley’s & lottie’s connection was undeniable it just was forced, (obviously because they were fake engaged), but still.

I stoped at 75% so I’m gonna count this as read, but wow I was not interested. One not a huge fan of the name Huxley or Lottie also so much tension but not in a sexual way until all the sudden she’s mad and he’s chasing after her?? I wanted more build up more push and pull
