This was an amazing book. I don't really have the words to describe this wonderful book. I would highly recommend this book.

The only reason I finished reading this problematic, poorly written book of two-dimensional characters was because I received it as a gift. I wanted to like it because I'm all about putting women back into history. But despite every chapter repeatedly stating, "God has a plan for you," in the end, Galerius's change of heart twoard Christianity doesn't appear to have anything to do with Valeria's actions. The portrayal of Valeria and her faith remained disappointly trifling.

I loved this book from the beginning to the end. Not very often do you get books of martyred Christian women and Valeria’s Cross is just that.

Valeria is the daughter of an Emperor and the wife of Caesar (who later becomes Emperor). But that just makes it harder for as she is a Christian and her husband and father are not.

Anyone who wants to enjoy a history lesson and learn of how women’s lives were during the 250-330 B.C. years.

I am glad I got this book and it will grace my shelves for years to come. The authors did a wonderful job of putting this book together.

Was okay. Definitely not what i was expecting. The ending was completely DIFFERENT. I didn't like how Galerius was shown to be a monster, but then portrayed as loving. It was just too confusing. Glad I got it for free.

The heroine of this book has won the award for most annoying, unlikable book character ever in my opinion. The story itself wasn't too bad, as I find most stories set in ancient times interesting but Valeria was too wishy-washy and back and forth concerning her love interests. I'm pretty sure she'd be a perfect character in a soap opera.
