Fine, fine, fine. I'll give it 5 stars. It's as epic as Lord of the Rings. It's as detailed as Wheel of Time. It's immersive. It's immense. It's intriguing. It's unique.

I feel like the only downfall for me is the characters, and not even the characters themselves. They are fine. I even like a few of them. But why do I always feel like the character dialogue doesn't ring "real?" It makes it hard to get invested. I had this problem with the Mistborn trilogy too.

I just really wanted to reread the full disadvantaged duel scene. It lead to me reading the entire last half of this book, that's like 500 pages. Why when I have so many books I want to read do I keep just coming back to Sanderson?!
