Her Soul to Take was quite the deliciously dark and demonic ride. The plot had me hooked from the start, balancing an intriguing storyline with just the right amount of spice woven throughout.
I absolutely loved the tension between Rae and Leon. The dynamic of a demon falling for the very girl meant to be sacrificed was so captivating—especially as Leon shifts from executioner to protector.
Their connection was intense, forbidden, and oh-so addictive.

If you’re a fan of dark romance with sexy demons (yes, forked tongues included), “touch her and die” vibes, and plenty of fiery tension, this book needs to be on your list.
Umm idk how to feel abt this. I didn't really enjoy it the way I thought I would. The story was rushed with no interesting plot, the smut ehh, the fl being weak and dumb while the ml strong and smart bruh.
Ngl I kept skipping paragraphs just to know what will happen after.
I only give it 2

This was the first book on my fall tbr list & it was a great one to kick off the season! It was such a fun read overall. At times Rae was like the girl in scary movies that you keep yelling at to do the opposite of what she ends up doing haha. Her character was also fearless & I enjoyed her finding her voice at the end. Leon was 100% a morally black mmc & other than him having blonde hair (which I will reluctantly admit was a refreshing difference from our typical dark haired mmc) he was a great character. The attraction between him & Rae was immediate, but their love slowly developed & didn’t feel forced AT ALL. The spice was so entertaining & for a paranormal dark romance novel, the storyline was very solid! I had a great time reading this one

Blurb: This is a dark paranormal romance, trigger warnings are found at the beginning of the book.
When her parents decide to move to Spain, Rae, an aspiring paranormal blogger decided to move back to her creepy and haunted hometown, Abelaum. Leon is a demon, and is currently enslaved by Kent, a millionaire member of the towns founding family and also an aspiring cult leader. Leon and Rae are instantly drawn to each other, Leon wants her soul and Rae must determine out if trading her soul for protection is really worth it.

This was my first reread of 22’, having originally read the book last year. I really liked this book the first time around, and LOVE it the second time around. The writing style and pace of the book are pretty fast, and the plot is really interesting despite the whole insta-attraction/love thing. While it doesn’t work for many romance books that I read, I have to say the author did a good job in this book. Leon and Rae had some great chemistry, and can I just say the my boy Leon can GET IT. Lorde. I can’t. I’m ace and this man could legit split me open, and I’d be okay with that. js.
I think the one thing I kinda hated is how stupid Rae can be, like home girl really has no sense of self preservation. Or basic survival skills??? How naive can this bitch be!?
***I use the term babygirl un-ironically and this book kinda ruined that for me, but I’m good. We’re good.**
