I loved a lot of things about this book. I loved the characters personalities, the fact that there was a decent plot behind all of that BUT
I wish there was something more between them, then just the interest, sex and need to survive. In a way their relationship started to feel a bit dull bc it only progressed to a point before it stagnated.
I also didn’t like how the plot was really only the ever same thing. As she always got them in trouble. But I reconsidered that bc i understood why that was and that there was a point to it. Even then i wished it was done with a bit more detail them Leon always rescuing her.

Now it might seem like I am way too negative. No i did like it, but for the length it had there were things that had me uncertain if I LOVED it

I do have to say I loved the banter and the writing style - a lot of really skilled writing in describing instead of just telling which was lovely

For the pacing hmm at some point bc the plot was the same thing over and over ( even if I acknowledge that there was a point to it) was meh

And well kind of wished there was more then the focus on them. Bc we did establish some relationships that never really got more then a few lines. Ray’s family - she had the call and then for the rest of the book total silence. As well as for her supposed bestie in the uni. It was ehh. But i know these aspects weren’t really the focus of this xd - 👀 looks pointedly at the amount of smut this book had ( that one also felt like it platoed a bit eh still good)
