I am tired of the inclusion of random smut that does not further the plot. I also hate anything where the men are being spoken of as being attractive and sculpted like gods. This just didn’t end up being what I thought it was gonna be.

The first half of this book was SLOW. The world building was quite confusing and I still don’t think I fully understand what is going on.

The second half was fast paced and a lot of fun. I’m excited to see what happens in book 2.

My sweet baby Liam?! I just want to hug him. By far my FAVORITE character.

The only complaint I have with this book is it's VERY long. I feel like unnecessarily so. I was getting bored at the 60% mark, wondering why things were so slow.

But that cliffy?! MY HEART.

This book is a true enemies to lovers. The slow burn is truly slow. The individual voices of each character is distinct and not homogenous. I would wish there were more atmosphere described in the world. Not enough descriptors outside of the superficial. Love the humor of this book. It’s what made this story stand out to me and kept me deeply invested.
