4 stars ⭐️ this is a slow burn and true enemies to lovers!!! ate this shit up although i did fuckin hate dianna in the beginning like i get the whole self torment and stuff but gorl pls sometimes it’s too much and liam was a lil too depressed but i guess when u literally wipe out a planet i can see how that would have that effect on u. i will say the first part was super slow but it picked up immensely at like 35-45% but i loved it and will sefer be reading the other books in the series

This book made me realize how impatient I get with slow burns. It’s worth the wait but lots of world building up front. This series is gonna break my heart isn’t it…..only one way to find out!

Сюжетът бе първото нещо, което ми допадна. Светът, който Амбър Никол създава е доста епичен и интригуващ. Имаме богове и чудовища от легендите, вампири, вещици и баншита. Само си помисли за магично създание и съм сигурна, че авторката ще задоволи въображението ти подобаващо. А за капак, го прави по доста оригинален начин.

Действието се развива с равномерна и постоянна скорост. Нямаше момент, в който да не се добави частица от миналото на героите, която да придаде цялост на светът. Темпото, с което се разкриваха мистериите и травмите на героите ме държаха ангажирана през цялата книга.

Усетих се на места леко объркана от описанията и стилът на авторката, но това може да се дължи на факта, че я четях на английски, а той не ми е роден език. Но цялостното ми усещане за книгата се затвърди от това, че отношенията между героите бяха реалистично предадени. Нямаше пресилени реакции и нелогично поведение, което направи персонажите запомнящи се.
