EXCUSE ME?!?! WHAT WAS THAT ENDING!!!! I was SCREAMINGGGGGGGGGGGG with Dianna. I couldn’t believe that I really did not see that happening!! I literally threw myself off a cliff and then picked myself back up so I could sprint to my kindle and download the second book. This one was a bit difficult to get into because Amber throws you head first into her book and says “HOLD ON” while she is off and running. After I was able to get into it and feel attached to the characters I loved it!! The second one can’t have as bad a cliffhanger as the first one…..right?! RIGHT?!?! Well I am off to start the next one, hopefully I see you on the other side.

This series has been on my TBR for a while. I knew the moment I added it, I would love it and it did not disappoint. I absolutely loved both main characters, their backstories, the complexities and how the author made these badass beings, with incredible power still suffer from mental health and how debilitating it can be to anyone. The only reason I’m not giving this book 5 stars is because towards the end I just got a bit tired of so many stabbing them in the back.
