Mhm, I had a really hard time getting into this one... the beginning was kinda confusing, and it took me a long time to read.

When Abby's grandmother GG dies, she receives a letter from GG written before she died, Abby is excited to get a piece of her back. But GG has left a mystery for Abby to solve, one that may change the way Abby sees the world and everyone in it. Abby is discovers the family secret through this quest. The truth is out there but the consequence is that you cannot take it back. Not going to give too much away. :p

Overall, a very interesting blend of history and mystery. I've never really been into mystery books, but I enjoyed this one, and recommend it!

This is a great read. Abigail’s journey is heart wrenching! She has so many decisions to make! This book is full of mystery, with crazy twists and turns along the way!

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own

At first I was really enjoying this book. The characters have great senses of humor, especially Kaden. Plus, there was a huge mystery filled with family secrets. This book was thrilling for the most part.

Now, though, I can only think of the ending and how disappointing it was. Plus, it was also dragged out longer than it had to be. I liked the book better when Abby was still following a trail and having suspicions about being followed. At those times it reminded me of "Don't Look Back" by Jennifer L. Armentrout.

Anyways,in summary, I liked the book and planned on giving it a solid four stars until I reached the ending which really disappointed me. I thought there would something more, something juicier, but there wasn't. I would recommend this book to people who like a cute romance and learning about WWII. Happy reading everyone and I hope that you like the ending better than I did.
