I love this book!!! I was completely shocked at how the story went! I would have never have guessed that in the end Wendy went for Loki, in a way I am sad that she didn't pick Finn.
The trilogy was good but what kept it going was Wendy's relationships for me. I am still torn between Loki and Finn as I love both of the characters but in the end I still think the ending was great if not a little predictable. I wish the story continued as I am seriously enchanted by this trilogy and am more than likely to read this book again!
If you want a great fantasy tale and great romance YOU MUST READ THIS BOOK!!!!!

I really enjoyed this series. It is not the best written book I have ever read but Amanda Hocking's style is just very easy to read and the books go very, very quickly and the characters are interesting and the story not totally predictable...even the romances are not predictable and I liked that. I wish that some of the details and the character developments had been more sussed out...more information, more time spent with the characters all would have been good...the whole series didn't even take me a week to read...without reading overly much...the quickness of the read was nice but honestly, I could have used a bit more to each book but especially the later two...Wendy developes from a pretty self centered kid to a queen pretty effortlessly and a little more of that transition would have been nice to see. Overall, fun, light, very YA-ish read.

This last book was very predictable, and in a way sort of ruined the trilogy for me.

That was the most beautiful, most fluffy fanfiction-like ending that I've ever read and OMG IT WAS PERFECT AND MORE THAN SATISFYING

I'm reviewing the series as a whole here so if you haven't read the first two stop here....no really stop.
A few things did bother me. First the cheating. I know she knew there was no hope for her and Tove but I felt that it was out of character for Wendy to cheat on her husband despite what he had just done. Another thing that bothered me was the mysterious case of the disappearing characters. In the third book several characters seemed to fall off in importance; Willa, Matt, Rhys and a few others. They would randomly pop up when Wendy suddenly felt guilty for ignoring them.
Over all I enjoyed the series but the third book was my least favorite. Can't put in my library because of sex in the third book but would be good in a library where paranormal romances are popular.
Spoiler
Over all I enjoyed the series as a whole. I know a lot of people have trouble with Wendy ending up with Loki but I felt like she was better off with him. Finn never seemed to trust her to do anything more than stand there and look pretty. Loki, while he wasn't crazy about helping her, did. I am also a little put off by cases of "insta-love" and the fact that Wendy's insta-love with Finn didn't pan out made me a little happy. I felt like she built a relationship with Loki. While it wasn't realistic the rate at which she built this relationship for me it was still better than "I'm suddenly and strangely drawn to him"A few things did bother me. First the cheating.
