 I found Wild disappointing. I had been so looking forward to reading it. I really enjoyed the hiking parts, but just couldn't identify with the personal parts of the author's life, such as the drug use and casual sex.

Such a painful, yet poetic, memoir of a broken woman seeking renewal in nature. Tough read emotionally, but very approachable. Cheryl writes from the heart in a raw and honest manner- truly brave.
