Another cute read. I did like how this one ended, but I hated the whole premise of the relationship. The fact that Sebastian lied about such a big thing just to tall Peyton into the contract marriage irritated me. He could have told her the truth. The pre nup would have protected him, and he could still give her the money she agreed to. Why did he go and do all the subterfuge? It genuinely pissed me off!!! Ugh!!! I'm glad that Peyton left him, though I don't like that she hid the pregnancy from him. I don't like that either. Still loved the ending, and the writing was adorable.

It was a cute story, but the ending seemed extremely abrupt

She worked for him for TEN YEARS and they didn’t know each others first names??? A stupid mistake.

“I daresay that if you find a woman to marry, there will be ups and downs. There will be disagreements, apologies, forgiveness. A true love takes sacrifice. Even if the sacrifice is sometimes one’s own happiness.”

Oh this book is everything. At first from the blurb I was getting “The Proposal” sort of vibes and I thought it would be the same kind of jist, but hell no it is not. Sebastian is the most unlikable likeable character. I wanted to slap, hug and kiss the guy. Kind of Christian Grey vibes yano?
I loved this book. It was funny, I especially love drunk Peyton! It was emotional, I ugly cried badly. It was full of romance too! It’s closed-door, which I think I prefer as a reader, as sometimes the smut scenes can be a tad over the top, and I think it also helps see the real romance brewing. Laura Burton did an excellent job with this book and I recommend highly to any romance lover out there!
I stormed through this book quicker than I could change my kids bums. I got caught up on the drama filled marriage, jealousy bouts and feel-good moments from the first chapter! While this is a series, it can easily be read as a standalone for readers just wanting to dip their toes in.
