Oh boy an intense read, but I loved it. There is an innate underlying tension to a book about a closeted queer person, because you know that at some point in some way they will be out. Whether through coming out or being outed, and that's scary. It's a great book, and very accessible to people who might not be super clued up on 'transness', but a nice nostalgia of teen drama for those who grew up not seeing themselves in stories
