I love Meagan Brandy, she does it again with this book.

Davis has been in love with her brothers best friend,Crew, for as long as she can remember. One day he leaves her and three years go by before she sees him again.
Davis has an offer for crew that he is struggling to say no to. They grow closer and feelings grow. When the past comes knocking things change for Davis and what she thinks she knows.
One thing that will never change is the love and lengths crew will go to, to protect and keep Davis.

This was a great sexual reawakening brothers best friend story with enough mystery and quirkiness to keep me interested. FMC is DEFINITELY on the spectrum which I loved, made her so unique.

Trope Twist

One thing I consistently hate is a virgin trope. However, this one was so well done and so well written that it completely turns the idea of this trope on its head! I loved this book, Virgin Trope and all! I can honestly say, out of the thousands of books I’ve read, this is one that falls into that category I actually love.
While I can’t comprehend the feasibility of why our female Main character had zero experience and never even used her giant brain to expand her knowledge into the realm of sexy times, it made for good “discovery” reading. I also don’t get her lack of friends and self made community in college, but whatever.

Wow... amazing 5 ⭐️ read!
This book was a decent length, I think about 500pages and oh my god, the depth of emotion felt between these 2 was so good. Both of them not feeling worthy of eachother

3.5 Stars - It was good and would recommend to most.

Meagan Brandy is an interesting author to me, I have same major wins but some major losses. This was good book and I would recommend it to almost everybody. For me it was a little bit clunky and cringey. Something was just not quite right for me. I think it was just the characters lacking depth, critical thinking skills so it made a good chunk of the book drag and feel repetitive.

Tropes: brothers best friend
Triggers: Alcoholism, violence and murder

for me

I loved the beginning of this book. It was a four or five. The beginning of the middle was also super good. Towards the end of the middle it starting going down. It was a shaky four. At the end it was at most a three. Like they randomly do fight and things didn’t make sense. Like it seems like five chapters were left out. It felt so rushed and no explanation and things were just like this happen and this so now this is happening. Like it was literally rushed so much. The beginning I loved so much. The second half is not it though. It the second half was at good as the beginning this could have easily been my favorite book.

Overall: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Couple: Crew & Davis
**********
“It’s different for every woman. If a man cares about her, he’ll learn what she likes, remember it, and work his ass off to perfect it.”

Well damn, this book was so much more than I thought it would be, and it delivered me one of my favorite FMC's ever in Davis. I will always be soft for a shared childhood turned into lovers read. These two wonderful people did not have an easy road to get to their HEA. It was filled with loss, hurts, betrayal, but also had new beginnings, friends and love. Watching Davis experience new things, seeing what Crew had gone through and his growth, and both of them being vulnerable with each other, I could not get enough. Definitely a top read for me.
