This book was hard to put down. I just wanted to keep reading. I love the characters. The romance felt like attraction and not something you'd risk everything for. The rest of the book was great though. I'm looking forward to the next book

This was an ok read. The story was interesting enough, but the characters weren't well-developed. The romance plot pretty much came out of nowhere, and there was very little chemistry there.

I really enjoyed this book! I think the world building was great, you really get a sense of how much the two groups hate each other and how long they have been fighting for.

The plot is also really interesting and I love how it forced her to challenge what she always believed and what it means to love someone.

My main problems are that I think she should’ve been held captive for longer - a few weeks is a little quick to completely change an ingrained mindset - and the ending was way too rushed! I thought what the last couple chapters covered was actually going to be book 2!
