I read passed where I last watched the anime. After finishing the manga, I want finish watching the anime. I was laughing throughout reading the manga. The ending left me wanting to read more.

Grand Blue is considered one of the best comedy manga and it is highly regarded by most who have read/watched it. First volume was okay, nothing special but the preface about a diving anime is intriguing and if you consider its popularity, it should get better as it continues.

I just wish the story can get more diving content, but from my friends told me and other reviews, the content still more focus on ecchi/romantic comedy themes, and have more drinking scenes than diving scenes.
For plus side, the art for underwater views are gorgeous. Maybe drawing the sea takes more effort so the creators saves their energy by focusing stories on college students slice-of-life rom-com theme.

Super good comedy with fantastic art. It's real shame the anime stopped right where the character development really starts. So if you liked the anime but wanted more of that, then definitely check out the ongoing manga/
