LOVED this!! There were moments where Eve really bugged me with her decision making, but I really enjoyed the continued expansion to the plot and getting to know more of the characters- I can't wait till the 3rd one comes out!!!

Good continuation of book 1, I didn't enjoy this as much because, despite understanding where Eve was coming from I thought she acted like a selfish dick.
The ending was very good however and made sense- now to wait with baited breath for book 3!

Having enjoyed the first of the trilogy I was looking forward to finding out what happened to Eve and Bram next. This was an exciting sequel, with some twists and turns along the way. I enjoyed the futuristic setting and the different view points of each narrator.
I am slightly disappointed that there is to be no resolutions until the third book. This is very clearly a sequel, you need to have read the first of the series to truly understand this one. I do like both authors’ writing style and will be looking forward to the final instalment.

Eve of Man was one of my favourite books of 2019 and I was impatiently waiting for an announcement for the second on so I could delve back into this world. When I saw it on NetGalley I felt like all my dreams had come true and I’m so thankful to have been accepted to read the e-arc of the second book in this trilogy.
This book jumps straight back into the story where the first one left of, reminding us of the ending from a different perspective, which I was very thankful for! Told from three different perspectives, this story flowed exceptionally well and was the perfect middle book in this trilogy.
Eve and Bram are both brilliant characters who I absolutely adore. Eve now has a sense of freedom that she’s never expected and unfortunately it hasn’t lived up to what she thought it would be. She wants to make a change but it’s hard when she’s escaped one prison for an underground camp where she still has no control. She wants to do the right thing, even when she knows how much it could cost her.
Bram needs to learn to accept Eve’s decision which is constantly a struggle for him. He put everything on the line to save her and he just wants to protect her. He’s been somewhat forced into a leaders role with no prior experience so he’s left trying to balance everything and not ruffle any feathers.
This was such a good book and I honestly flew through the final half of the book. I needed to know how it finished and now I’m so eager for the final book in the trilogy! I ended up only having one small qualm with this book and that was that I had predicted the cliff-hanger quite early on but I’m not even bothered!
I definitely recommend continuing on with this series if you read and enjoyed the first book. I cannot wait to see where Tom and Giovanna go with the final book!

This book picks straight back up where the first one left off (so read the first one!). It took me a little while to get back into it and remember how the previous ended.
The story was as action packed as I’d hoped. There were a few interesting reveals and twists through the storytelling and it held me interest.
The very last reveal before it ended, I was expecting. I’m excited to see where the story continues in the third instalment!

I forgot how much I love this series so much so that I read it in under 4 hours cover to cover.
The story restarts after the chaos at the Drop and it is full steam ahead from there. We saw a lot of character development in this book even more so that the first one as Eve really starts to figure out who she is outside of the tower and how she fits in this new world.
And of course it ends with the most fantastic of cliffhangers and I cannot wait for the next book to come out!

I really loved the first book in the trilogy. It was clever and interesting. The characters were likable and engaging. This book was disappointing. Somehow the characters voices were lost. I didn't find them as likeable. The storyline is a bit dull and then rushed towards the end. The twists were obvious too. Hopefully the next one will be a lot better...
