I’ve never read a more depressing modern outlook on life and lesbianism. Like…have the French ever been happy? Have you ever felt joy???? Also (unfortunately) definitely can relate to some of it! But there were some parts (i.e. the one chapter about how women were “made for f*cking,” and the majority of how the narrator talks about the women she slept with) that I realllllly hated. Still a good read if you want to be depressed and/or if you’re already depressed and want to feel SEEN!
