This book is well written. It's very entertaining and makes the history of the Plantagenet kings come to life. If you enjoy English history, I highly recommend it!

Well, my foray into genealogy continues to lead me back in history as I find that I want to learn more about England and her history.

Those Plantagenets! Wow!

I began to wonder if there were any good kings during the Plantagenet reign. There were and I think that Jones' epilogue provides a good assessment of the 'good' and 'bad' monarchs of this period. It was an epic and transitional period with the power of the crown being restricted and that of what would be known as Parliament, began to be established.
