this series has consumed my every thought so it makes sense i would eventually read the second trilogy, even if i was very scared to. i love jean so much. this was actually perfect and it’s very clear that nora has improved her writing since writing the original trilogy. i will be reading the golden raven asap.

I thought this would be a continuation with the Foxes so I read the first few chapters at arms length waiting for a switch to a Foxhole setting. But then I got Jeremy and Jean and I breezed through it too.
I don’t know that I resonated with this as much as the first part of the series, but I still gasped and giggled and fumed and cried and I am looking forward to reading the next one.
