Every. Damn. Time. That I dare to think "oh, well it's just a goofy made-up sports mafia series with funny characters and angst" I am proven right and SO WRONG at the same time.

Once again my heart has been twisted, pulled, broken, shattered, tortured, put back together, smooched -- just so the toxic cycle could start again.😭😭😭
I devoured this book in THREE DAYS! Idk why I waited so long to read it when I knew how the first trilogy made me feel.
Anyone who dares to say it is "poorly written" or "unrealistic", please, do not talk to me.✋️
This book wrenched my soul more than any actual heartbreak ever has. When I wasn't reading the book, I was thinking about the book, and when I was reading the book, I wasn't thinking about anything else.

I laughed and cried, kicked and screamed, and at the end, I sounded like a very sad, very frustrated tea kettle.🫠

I could go on for hours about this book and the series.
Big shoutout to the narrator Alexander Cedene. I might've never picked up the series if I hadn't started The Foxhole Court on a long car trip.

Holy shit oh my God this damned book.

I have so many thoughts and I don’t know where to even begin and I loved this book so much and God I love Jean and the Trojans and I just. Holy shit.

going feral i need the next book so bad

- back in my aftg era! i loved all the snippets we got of the foxes <3
- i still don't really understand how exy works but that's ok lol
- this book took me a while to get through because the first 1/3 just retold the end of TKM from Jean's pov, so i was just waiting for Jean to get to USC, but once he did, the pages flew by
- i loved Jean so much, i want to wrap him up in a bubble and protect him
-- his ptsd was hard to read about but felt realistic and was so heartbreaking to witness
- i loved Jeremy so much, i was just imagining Nick from Heartstopper but with Ken hair lol
-- i can't wait to delve more into his past and see what gets under his skin (cough, Jean)
- their names being so similar confused me a couple times while reading, though it was mostly funny to me bc it's clear that Nora Sakavic never meant for this story to exist but i'm so glad it does
- i'm still warming up to the rest of the Trojans, but i really like the little quartet, especially Cat!
- i need moreeeeee
