What do you mean it finishes like this?
I know it has a sequel, but there was no thought behind the construction of this book.
It doesn't feel like a book, but maybe like a first part of one.

Anyway, for a second I thought we wouldn't have the craziness of the other books, but I was obviously wrong.
Not that I'm bothered, I guess it was all too nice to be true.
At least the majority of the characters are not deranged (I love you Andrew).

Poor Jean, he's just a baby (please wake up, it is painful to read).

This took me months to read because it’s making me insane. I understand the jean hype now. miss nora sakavic knew what she was cooking when she invented the sad tortured French man trope
