There is next to no Andriel in this book, which was tough for me to handle. Once that shock wore off, I could appreciate it as a good book in its own right.

My boy Jean deserves it (the world, to be happy, to go to therapy, to have friends and be loved)

La forma en que Nora me destroza y me hace feliz, al mismo tiempo, es única.
Jamás me cansaré de leer esta saga, me da vida.

Te amo Jean, eres un bebito y te mereces el cielo. ❤️

Was this book perfect? I don't care. I experienced the entire range of human emotion. I had fun. I felt immense dread. I saw my friends from the first three books. Nora I need the next book STAT.

I am so happy this book exists. And I can't believe Nora is still writing in this world with her amazing characters. She has the ability to make these characters live in your mind rent-free and make all the trauma and unbelievable premises feel realistic at the moment. This book is just a continuation of the perfect brain rot the original books gave me.

I am so glad I never read fanfics about Jean or Jeremy, so I had no previous headcanons or preconceived notions. I could enjoy this book for what it was without that burden. And I did enjoy it so much. Jean has so much trauma, and we are just beginning to explore his healing. He is finally allowed to be a real boy, and I cannot wait to see more of that in the next book. I loved all the side characters, especially Cat and Laila, and finally seeing Neil from an outside POV (he is so feral. I love him to the moon and back). I didn't cry reading, but man, I want to reread it again and reread the first 3 books. I cannot wait until the next one, and I will be on AO3 until then.

Thank you Nora for this book!
