Ijoema Oluo builds on her previous works in Be a Revolutionwhere she pivots to actionable ideas people can take to work to fight against oppression in our current world. She works through several areas of interest (disability, gender, education, justice system, etc.) , and each section provides an overview and then highlights individuals involved in those movements, and concludes with a list of ways the reader can implement change in this area. Many times things can feel overwhelming, so providing tangible ways one can help change things was helpful.

I learned of the misrepresentation and misquoting of several of the disability advocates Oluo interviewed. Many were not given follow ups and did not know they were being directly profiled.
