“I hope you find someone you can't live without. I really do. And I hope you never have to know what it's like to have to try and live without them.”

This book may be one of the best Dystopian books I've read in a long, long time. The Selection isn't about the world building, which I liked because it gave the characters time to flourish and bloom in a way that they tend to not do in most Dystopians.

America and Maxon had great chemistry from the get go and I immediately had my shipping. Aspen, despite being kind of cute also showed this childlike side and it made me dislike him so much.

What I think is great about this trilogy is that it's a different take on Dystopian, but it's also a very easy read. There's not a lot of thinking going on, you can sit back and relax.

“If you don’t want me to be in love with you, you’re going to have to stop looking so lovely. First thing tomorrow I’m having your maids sew some potato sacks together for you.”

I like this book. It's an easy read, the commoner-royalty trope and plot is good definitely team maxon, I'll see what is there on the next part
