I did not enjoy this novella.
The lack of character development and the peculiarity of the characterizations meant that these guys were hard to get a handle on- and therefore I didn't gel with either. Gerard in particular was just ODD. But not loveable odd.
The rush to insta-love was also a turn off because nothing made sense in these two getting together.
The story needed A LOT more development for it to make sense.
A shame, cos Zam is a super writer.
