The blurb covers the material quite well. It was an unexpected pleasure to have brief Art Histories at the beginning of each section. The manual is unashamedly political and activist and anti-advertising. It reads quickly and easily and has the odd wry joke or two sprinkled in to keep you entertained and alert for subversive uses of irony. Illustrations, in pink and grey, are informative and witty. Just enough nudge to help you get out there and make art!

Bill Posters seems to be an idealist who believes that street art is "a form of critical public art" and a way to "imagine a world beyond capitalism". perhaps it's why there's no mention of Shepard Fairey, Dface or the likes, because they're too commercial? All this sounds dangerous and fun but i don't feel very engaged.
