Of all people I imagined would say L word first, I was highly surprised that it was Ty. From the prequels I come to a conclusion that Zane would do it first, in regard his proclamation of loving Ty to Henninger in the frst book. I rarely read Ty's emotion toward Zane, mostly the other way around--another reason I thought it would Zane first. But this book turned the role of Ty and Zane quite significant. While we still read mostly Zane's feeling toward Ty, we could see Ty's feeling more openly in this part and his acceptation that he is actually in love with Zane. But why only Ty who said the L word? *strangle Zane and his denseness*

I would say this installment was the best of all three books in the series. The jumping POV was hardly found and it was written more smothly. The mystery was unpredictable this time, though the conclusion of the case was rather dissapointing. The chemistry flow beautifully like they always had--made me craving for more of Ty and Zane duo. And they stop taking turns on getting hurt! Finally I saw the whole story where only Ty this time who get targetted. Hope book 4 had Zane getting hurt from beginning to ending--I just love me some sufferings.

Now I would just stalking the authoresses and look up on when they publish the 4th book of this series--it's attached to me now.

3.5 It took awhile to get into. I wanted to smack them both with their whole "I love him, but he can't love me" thing, but enjoyed their banter.
SpoilerI'm glad neither were seriously injured this time!

Fish & Chips is the third instalment to Ty and Zane's story, and just when I thought, 'How could Madeleine and Abigail ever top Sticks and Stones? It's so good!', then comes swooping in Fish & Chips. It's not as action-packed as the first two books in the series, but it definitely divulged deeper into Ty and Zane's relationship (which in my opinion made the book stand out and live up to the standard the first two books had set).

After a serial killer case in New York, treasure hunters in West Virginia, we have... Smugglers on a cruise.

The whiplash on this series continues, I'm almost enjoying how wildly different each book is to the previous so far, but hey let's go. Ty and Zane have been tasked to pose as a gay couple on a cruise and infiltrate an international smuggling ring!

Add in a Miss Congeniality makeover and suddenly our intrepid duo find themselves on a cruise in short shorts... Solving crime! It's all quite strange.
