It did pick up after a while but wow was that a tough read. It took me a really long time to get into the story. It’s not a bad book but it’s very confusing up until the halfway point but then the ending is trying too hard to connect every single point together. I feel like this book could’ve used a little less plot points.

Definitely not the worst book I’ve read but I wouldn’t recommend it unless you really like a more complex fantasy story.

You could truly feel the authors love for books in every sentence..and did not see one plot twist coming damn..

I really enjoyed the book. I think the only thing I didn't like was that there was so much going on. It did all tie together in the end, but at times, it was very confusing. I recommend that if you read this book , anytime time you are confused, read on it all work itself out. If you go back and reread some of the pages, you'll end up more lost.
