While I'm not always a fan of prequels, this was FUCKING DOPE! It was great seeing Maki's, Panda's, and Inumaki's time as first years as well as FINALLY being introduced to Okkotsu. Okkotsu's relationship with Rika was really interesting and deeper the world and lore of Jujutsu Kaisen, something I'm pretty obsessed with.
Geto is such an interesting and twisted villain, full of personality with the talent and smarts to back up his pompous attitude. I love how twisted the reasoning behind his motivation is and how he's capable of manipulating others. Easily one of the better Shounen Jump villains for sure.
Learning more about Inumaki and seeing him in action made my heart swell. He's easily one of my favorite characters in the series and I love seeing his cursed technique at work. His interactions with Panda and Okkotsu were nice as well and its fascinating that he's closest to Panda then the other students. Can't wait to see backstory on that friendship!
Long story short, this was a fun, disturbing, and wholly entertaining read that I highly recommend any Jujutsu Kaisen fan read. Love, love, loved it!

Really interesting. It was also interesting getting to see some of the other characters highlighted for once. The curse was really interesting.
