Good book. I think this is my favorite of the three which seems to be the general concensus. Now I just need to see the TV movie they made of it and I'll be really happy with all likelyhood. Or I could just read it again and look for clues I missed the first time around. I have to say this is a fantastic time-travel book not just a fantastic kids' book. It makes sense, it explains things to people but it's not condesending. It doesn't treat the past as a great place where everyone was happy people are racist and sexist and fearful of spies, in a kid's book! That's what I like about this series most I think, he treats his audience as an intelligent group. I've always had a bit of a problem with the series in that I'm American and so I'm not use to thinking "all skinheads are racist" and things like that that are at times very important to the storyline, I think that he does a very good job in this book particularly in making clear that while this small town has skinheads they're a small town and don't know how to be properly racist exactly. And the burger joke made me laugh.

Mini Mini Review 2023 - we all know a Guilty.

One must wonder if Kristy and Hermoine are related. Pratchett's last installment in this series is about time travel, war, and cats.

Old Review - This Johnny Maxwell book, like the previous two, takes a serious issue and deals with it in a funny way while at the same time presenting something important. That's a rare talent. For Discworld fans, Greebo seems to make an appearance, or at least one of his relatives does.

The idea is very interesting (like the other books from the series). I think I made a mistake reading them one after the other. I could not pick it up to continue my reading. A good introduction to time travel for kids.
