I think the only reason this book doesn’t get 5 stars from me is because I’m not THRILLED that there’s a second trilogy.
Aside from that, I thought this book was a 5 star read. The character development and relationship building was phenomenal. Pierce brown does an UNREAL job of making us love the good & the bad characters. I really don’t think I’ve ever felt for a character as much as I felt for Darrow and my guy Sevro.

The weakest of the original trilogy, but still a very good book.
I realised halfway through this book that I was definitely over this series. They were all entertaining enough (though this one did seem similar to the second) but I don't plan on reading the rest any time soon.
