I enjoyed the poems, but it was kind of like preaching to the choir. The illustrations were colorful and fun, but they also looked dated. Overall, it was ok.

I absolutely loved this delightful collection of small poems celebrating reading, words, and wordplay. Text is mostly English with some Spanish within, and the wordplay goes seamlessly back and forth between the two languages (there's a glossary in the back with English translations for the Spanish terms). Illustrations are warm and playful. An utterly lovely treat of a book.

Nice poems, lovely illustrations. There were only two or three that I really liked, and the rest were just ok. Altogether it's a fun collection that I will promote and put on display whenever I can.
