The 9/11 plot twist threw me for a loop. Otherwise; a pretty solid read. I finished it in a day because I just had to know.

This book came to me highly recommended by a friend, and it’s safe to say that I loved it. I appreciate the era-appropriate interactions with a character on the spectrum. Overall loved the characters and their journeys after ten years. I would have liked more from the later set of Annika and Jonathan, a chance fo build themselves up better before the end. The end was so unexpected for me until that first mention that something was wrong and I gasped ! Will definitely reread later and I do recommend to others !

Honestly, this book was beautiful. It's rare that you find a book that can portray something like autism without making it sound inferior, or only a side character struggles with it. It was a cute love story and I would read again.

Scared the shit out of me towards the end but I could really resonate with Annika’s sense of loneliness in life and her need to grow and figure things out by herself instead of relying on other people for support was inspiring and made me very proud of her.

OH MY GOSH. This book exceeded my expectations. I thought I was getting a sweet reconnected lovers story, but holy moly I go so much more. A beautiful story with equally beautiful writing. The characters and situations were honest and true and believable. I literally gasped
when that first full date appears near the end.
I loved this book. Simple as that.
