Overall, a good ending to the series. Not sure why it took 3 hours to wrap up the loose ends (lots and lots of 'and then this.... and then this' happening). Not my favorite of the series, but I guess we can't all choose the ending we want.
I'll bump up my rating from 9 years ago.
This book had a lot of battles and war, which I find boring, which is probably why I initially rated it so low.
Also roran and eragon have such stilted dialogue, it's so awkward. I assume that's because the author was trying to make them sound like cool adult heros, and just copied the way people talk in the Lord of the rings and stuff.
I also just finished the wizard of earth sea and find it anything how much if the basic system was inspired by that one.

Iba a darle menos estrellas ya que en alguna ocasión la narración se me ha hecho muy aburrida a lo largo de este libro.
Pero no sería justo para el final de esta saga que me ha gustado tanto y me ha destrozado con ese final.
Así que le doy cinco aún sabiendo que no se lo merece del todo, pero que la recordaré siempre como una de mis favoritas.
Si os apetece una saga llena de magia, dragones y cosas imposibles ahí la tenéis. (Me sigue molestando el hecho de que algunos problemas los resuelvan de manera tan simple, pero esto no quita que me haya encantado).
Y por favor espero que el autor resuelva algunas de las cosas que dejó en el aire!!!

Paolini did not even bother to explain what shruikan went through...just vague glimpses of an anger that seemed misplaced....

um i forget most of it but this book series is one of my absolute absolute favorites so i really have to re read it

Did a good job of closing out the series. Seemed to drag a little as everyone figured out what to do in the end but all in all a satisfying conclusion.
