High production value saves this otherwise mediocre story.

This was hilarious and so clever, a delightful distraction on a difficult day.

It took me a while to get into this one - who was everyone? what was happening? - but the back half is hilarious and amazing. (There is a West Wing joke in there that makes the entire book worth it.) Katie is the best, the voice acting is great, and overall, it's an enjoyable listen for a commute or when you're stuck inside due to COVID19.

Trying very hard to be funny- and consistently surprising me by succeeding. The voice actors are also so so so enjoyable. Ending's a little weak (anticlimactic), but honestly, this one was always gonna be about the ride.

It was a decent book but I'm not going to lie, I gave it an extra star because Meg Ryan was the narrator and she is America's Sweetheart after all. It was good but that's pretty much it.

This was far funnier than it had any right to be. I was laughing through so much of the story. The full cast recording, the absurdity, the characters. It all just works together so well. I particularly loved the banter between Abe and Katie. There is a little profanity *sigh* but it was fairly minor. Overall, a ridiculous story where the "bad guys" win.
