Truly the worst thing I've ever read, so he straight up kidnaps his wife assaults her and then were expected to like him again just because he's being nicer like absolutely not.

Innocence is the first book in the Tales of Olympus series. This is Cora Vestian and Marcus Ubeli's story.
I love reading books from these two authors so what would be better than each of their books you might say. Reading a book written by these two authors, together.
Cora was roofied and kidnapped. She stumbles in the club where Marcus was. Cora is so nice and innocent. Kind of surprising because Cora’s mother is anything but. There are twists and turns to this book. That I didn't see coming.
What a good book!!! I loved it. 5 STARS all the way!

DNF at 45%. I guess I didn't know what this book was, because WTF! I absolutely hate the plot twist that happens between the two main characters.
The beginning of the book breezes over the first month of their acquaintance. The main female character is so naive she's a child. The main male character is like a cartoon villain. The twist feels unearned and out of left field.
The idea was good, but I loathed the execution.

This book was interesting for me. It was a little disturbing with what Cora has been through when all she wants to do is live her life. I was shocked at the twist in the middle. I feel like the story actually picked up by the time it ended so I can't wait to listen to the next one!

It was entertaining as a mafia romance BUT it would have been much better if it was her Persephone era inspired, not her Kore era(?). I'm gonna finish the series but yeah

This book was okay. Reading it kind of made me feel uncomfortable and icky. But I did want to find out what happened. I never really felt any feelings for Cora from Marcus. That could be because it was in third person and we didn’t really get a look into their thoughts and feelings. The whole goings on in the book were not for me. I don’t think I will continue on in the series even though I am a bit curious as to what happens.
The writing is a little inconsistent. And it skips around a bit without much of a segue; as though I'm missing a few vital pieces of information. However, I'm so into this story. I'm excited to see where this goes!
