I really enjoyed this! Two princesses, their fire dog, and loot cat with an eyepatch going on adventures. It has it all going on!
Just a warning, I was really drawn to the art, but the art in the comic is actually drawn by several artists depending on the story/chapter. Not that it's bad, some of the different art styles are really good and fitting to the story.
This book was shelved in the kid's section, but there's nothing shallow about it. Check it out if you want a good fantasy adventure.

This comic is a series of stories about two displaced princesses who are seeking adventure in the magical lands beyond the borders their warring realms. All the stories are taken up by different artists, but every artist equal to the task. It feels like myth-telling there is a very real feeling that this book is just retelling older tales.

Cute, but I definitely enjoyed the vignettes at the end, rather than the main narrative. Unsure if I will read vol. 2, but it was very cool that this volume was illustrated by a variety of artists.

I'm not really sure what was so off putting about this one. It just felt meh? The story line was pretty weak, and I was really thrown by the vastly different art styles. It even felt like the characterizations changed throughout the book? It wasn't really a bad story, but it felt pretty disjointed, without enough depth to connect to the characters.
