Throughout the book we go through the lives of a huge cast of characters from the viewpoints of three women, Katherine Tai formerly known as Kitty Pong, Rachel Young, and Astrid Teo.
Honestly I stopped reading halfway through, but this book kept haunting me whenever I saw it on my currently reading and decided to pick it back up some 9 months later. The first 80% was all build up and then the last 20% is when the action starts and does the job because now I do want to finish the trilogy. While it does end with the issues that happened during the book wrapped up, it does leave some open ended questions, threats have been made, and the chaos door blown open by some revelations.

funny fast-paced

The first book was surprisingly really good and the second one upped the ante. The book is like a second coming of Gossip Girl and to compare the both of it would not give the characters in the book justice. The book had good pacing with enough detailing that won't bore you. The narrative is especially good as you won't get lost in the story with you rooting for the characters (especially my favourite: Rachel).

5 out of 5 and the third book can't seem to arrive fast enough.

I'm waiting eagerly for the second movie to come but just couldn't get through this book. I got the gist and I'm excited about the movie, but this book, like the first, wasn't engaging and got very confusing with all of the characters
