I was very close to not continuing with this book. I don’t like first person POV of murderers since of it disturbs. The introduction of the secondary protagonist helped but overall meh. I did finish it quickly cause the ending moves quick

Fun quick read, especially for someone who works in a library. Story felt a bit half finished but I enjoyed it.

You’d be forgiven for assuming all mystery/suspense set in a library was going to be cozy, but in this case you would be extremely wrong. This tale of former nurse/library worker/serial killer is chilling and ominous, but firmly grounded in the mundane details of life. Sharing a similar tone to My Sister the Serial Killer, but in a very different setting, How Can I Help You is likely to leave you unsettled, in a (mostly) good way.
