3 1/2 stars. Still found it hilarious, but didn't like the plot quite as much.

First thought when Finished: Whiskey for Breakfast was another entertaining listen that had me giggling. OMG that ending!

Overall Thoughts: Oh Addison! She is hands down one of my favorite hot messes of all time. This gal just can't seem to do anything in a traditional sense and that leads to some romping good times. This is the 3rd book in the series (I think they can all be read stand alone but you miss some character development) and the characters are still as entertaining as ever. It takes a village to help Addison crack a case (stay out of trouble) and her village rocks. I was glad to see a resolution to the love triangle even though it was another loss for me in the "character picks the other guy" lotto. The case wasn't the strongest in the series but it was still fun to follow. Liliana just knows how to entertain and make you grin!

Audio Thoughts:
Narrated By Connie Ventress / Length: 7 hrs and 59 mins

I waited months for the audiobook to come out because Connie is Addison to me. This is one of those series that will forever be an audiobook buy for me as long as Connie is doing the narration. She has fun and quirky down to a science!

Final Thoughts: Can't wait for the next one! I mean the ending alone made my jaw drop :)

I have a lot of feelings on this book/series.

First, it bugs me that Addison’s background changes from book to book. In the first book of the series, she specifically mentions not being Catholic, in book two she mentions a lifetime of Catholic guilt, and in book three she’s not quite religious. Book one (and maybe two), she’s into yoga, then suddenly she hates yoga in the third book, etc. The editing leaves something to be desired, as well (should the Prologue really be word-for-word a chapter that comes later in the book?) And finally, the parallels between Addison and Stephanie Plum are a bit excessive - I am hoping to see these books come into their own as the series progresses.

Despite the above, I still enjoyed the quick and quirky read (go figure) - let’s see how book four is.

In this situation, Addison is going to help find a long lost child for a client, add in things with Nick are going a little strange, and you have a world of funny, interesting things going on for Addison.

This book was really good. I really enjoyed the stuff that Addison was going through, however, I didn't like who she picked to be with. I wished it was someone else. Other than that, I thought the book was good and I look forward to more.

Cute, funny read. I enjoyed this installment of the series. And what a cliffhanger at the end! I can't wait to read the next.
